FAQs

When and where do you shoot?

The best time to shoot is the hour after sunrise or the hour before sunset. We call those the golden hours. But we can work around your schedule, especially if young children will be included in the session.

We shoot all around Cape Town, and even in the Cape Winelands (please note that certain locations may require an entrance fee or additional travel charges).

When should we book?

As soon as possible! We will always try and accommodate last minute requests, but we do book up quickly during busy times of the year.

When will we get our photos?

Your will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within five (5) days. You can download all the purchased photos from the gallery but also share them.

How many pictures will we receive?

It depends on the package selected. You will be able to purchase additional images from the gallery shared with you.

How many people can book a shoot together?

Getting great photos with a group means having ample time on your shoot to do so. In order to do that, we have required package lengths based on number of participants. Our group maximums are as follows:

30 mins: max 6
60 mins: max 10
90 mins: max 15

Please reach out to us if you need to add additional people.

What if I need to reschedule or cancel?

If you need to cancel for any reason, please email or call us and we will refund 90% of your booking fee as long as you provide us no less than 15 days’ notice prior to your scheduled shoot date. Once the shoot date and time are confirmed, you may cancel up to seven (7) days in advance of the date and time of the reservation for a 50% refund; we will retain the 50% balance for processing and handling fees. Within seven (7) days of the shoot date and time, all sales are final and there is no refund for cancelled shoots.

We will try out best to accommodate any requests for rescheduling of sessions. However, if we can not reschedule for any reason, the above will apply.

What if I am running late?

Please contact your photographer if you are delayed. If you arrive late, keep in mind that we may have another shoot booked or may run out of light if it is a sunset session. We suggest arriving early and even having a drink nearby so you don’t begin your experience in a ‘rushed’ state of mind. Remember: traffic in Cape Town can be unpredictable at best!
